vWii is completely optional, i'm not using it myself and vWii is a very long thing to explain.I'm still confused on how to mod my vwii without disc using haxchi
Yep I second that but if the op has no intreast in out of region games or dlc or VC games he can just use mocha/wup installer to install the games then they will boot without needing to run a cfw.Browserhax step is everywhere and it's required until you get HBLC or Haxchi
Mocha CFW is only useful when you don't own a DS VC game
Haxchi is well, Haxchi, it boots to CFW with a button hold
CBHC coldboots haxchi then boots to CFW on boot
Brazilian method allows you to install games
NAND Dumping part is needed if you're planning to risk it all and install CBHC
If you have trouble following my guide, then just read it couple of times. I suggest taking Browserhax->Haxchi->NAND Dump->CBHC route since more people choose this way.
Mocha is a CFW so you're booting CFW to play CFW games either way.Yep I second that but if the op has no intreast in out of region games or dlc or VC games he can just use mocha to install the games then they will boot without needing to run a cfw.

Yes but you only need it to install the games so pointless buying a ds game for haxchi if he is only using it to play in region games.Mocha is a CFW so you're booting CFW to play CFW games either way.
Main difference between those two is that, you don't need to hold any buttons on boot with CBHC.So CHBC is a bit more permanent, but it's not entirely needed if I'm not anal about that button press? I can use Haxchi by booting with a button hold, I'm assuming when or before starting the Wii U up.. so for example (Hold B, start wii u up, boots into CFW and I can boot my game). And that's basically the main differences between the two? I'm assuming CHBC is a bit more complicated to install, as nice as that sounds, the basic Haxchi seems suitable for my needs.

It automatically will autoboot into desired thing you've set up. [ex. Autoboot: vWii will boot into vWii menu]
If you want basic Haxchi, then you need to launch it on everyboot to boot into CFW. [You can set default=sysmenu to boot into it's CFW automatically, it's covered in my guide]
And that's all, nothing complicated.
Step 1 is required, same goes with Step 2. Mostly because we estimate that Nintendo might release a update anytime soon, which will probably block our exploits. Step 2 is needed because you need to somehow launch HBL. Um, Step 2 can be dismissed after you installed Haxchi, since Haxchi allows to boot into any homebrew out there with x button holdFirst of all, thank you for being really patient with me and not linking me to your guide constantly and saying "it's all in the guide". It helps to get a little bit of guidance and to see what approach to take from a live person before doing these tutorials.
To get this straight -- If I did step 1 and 2 (which you said browserhax is needed), step 4 (the haxchi method which is all I need and suits my needs without CBHC), and I use the brazilian method to install apps on the channels and the apps to install games to the HD, correct? At least from what I'm reading from your guide.
You can install every homebrews directly in the menu, as shortcuts. You need to use a VC DS game, then you install haxchi on it (but before, you need to edit the config file of haxchi to make it linked to the path of the homebrew you want the shortcut..).can I install tcpgecko on the nand like I did with the homebrew channel
or what the system storage is called
Yup, and it will definitly workoutKafluke's noob guide, my redNAND-free guide, wiiubru.com/guide, or just follow post above ^^
