Hacking What are the proper steps for creating an EmuNAND using a new SD card?

Do I need to format the SD card on Nintendo first? Do I need to have a backup of the NAND using Gateway 3DS? Do I need launcher.dat on the SD card?

Do I need

1. Nintendo 3DS folder
2. Launcher.dat
3. Backup NAND from Gateway
4. Then I update my EmuNAND?
