I know it sounds like a stupid quistion but i dont no what the pads are on a 2ds. I think its near the rubber that the buttons push.

I'm assuming you're talking about some sort of soft pad sitting underneath buttons.
I'd guess it's noise damping.

Yeah i meant those pads. The reason I asked this is because i heard of a lot of pads ripping off of 3ds/2ds.
