i know i can get screenshots using the rosalina menu in luma, but since i'm playing a wild world cart with my 3DS, the select button won't bring up the rosalina menu even when i hit L+Down+Select, and instead just brings up the chat function :( and i can't pause to my home menu, because it's a DS game. do i have the wrong shortcut maybe? is it something i have to enable before i can actually use it?

No. its simply that the menu only works in the 3ds firm mode. Ds games launch into the twl firm mode which does not allow for the luma menu to work. there aint anyway around getting it to work, as they are both separate firms with separate coding.

If you use nds-bootstrap you can take screenshots, though only of the 'main' screen. It's the same L + Down + SELECT button combo by default (though can be changed in TWiLight Menu++ settings) then just select Screenshot. It'll then be saved inside sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap/screenshots.tar. See the FAQs I linked for more details.

To install it, see the TWiLight Menu++ or forwarder install guides.

some of the best selling games on the switch are wii u ports (that are priced way too high
like come on 60 for a game thats a decade old??)

@ColdBlitz, i forgot breath of the wild released for the Wii u
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
I think we all forgot breath of the wild released for the wii u tbh

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy

@SylverReZ I read that non-binary people identify as a blend of male and female. The point is i think i'm a blend of those and thus non binary
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Non-binary people are those who don't identify themselves exclusively as male or female.

@SylverReZ, and thus that would make me non binary since i feel like a blend of both male and female
