Does it matter which IOS I use to install WADs with WAD Manager? I've been trying to use IOS249, but my Wii Remote dies after I select it. Same story for IOS 222. But when I try IOS 236, my Wii Remote is fine. I haven't installed any WADs on IOS 236 because I want to make sure this is ok first.

Also, does anyone know why my IOS 249 is making my Wii Remote stop working? I recently installed Hermes IOS 222/223 and IOS 236 incase that means anything.

cIOS 236 MUST be installed through cIOS236 Installer. cIOS 236 is recommended to use it when you install things on Wii (ie, WAD managers, modify IOS, etc)

While 222/223 are to pirate games from hdd /or plug different peripherals like mics. Much like IOS 249

IOS202 helps to load multimedia stuff (Notice cIOS 202, 222, 223 and 224) comes from Hermes

Well they aren't necessarily for pirating games. I pay for mine.

Anyway, we should still make sure he doesn't have stubs.

My guess is you installed stubs instead of the actual cIOS. Post a SysCheck with the guide in my signature.
Cool. I'll run through the guide when later today and let you know what's up... And as far as Coto says, in the future should I use WAD Manager on IOS 236?

Yeah, 236 is a good choice. You should still address the freezing issue though.

222 and 223 are stubs too, and you are missing 202. I suggest you use ModMii to download and install the following:
202[60]v5.1 rodries mod
222[38]v4
223[38+37]v4
224[57]v5.1 rodries mod
249[56] d2x v7
250[57] d2x v7
Ok. I used a guide at wikidot for installing hermes and it recommended using 224 instead of 222. Will doing what you're suggesting overwrite/mess up what I've put on 223 and 224 so far?

The setup I gave you is optimal. Just install that and it will overwrite your old setup.

Alright. I'll do it then. I appreciate all your help.
