Missing source code may have been the reason it was flagged for copyright violation.
Yes, that has occured to me now. It is actually a violation if the source code isnt provided.
Like I said, im going to get all the source code for everything and put it in one central location for anyone to download/access as soon as I get the chance
UPDATE: Seeing as tonight is the last night before I go back to school (bye bye freedom, winter break was nice while it lasted
), I will have little time to work on this stuff (at least until spring break). I'm going to get all the source information together tonight and throw it up on my Trinux site (in sig). I'll repack trinux 1.4b with the source code info as well and upload that (when I have time). The source code stuff needs to at the very least get tossed up on a centralized web page somewhere, so that's my goal for tonight.
UPDATE 2: As promised, source code, and GPL stuff added to the trinux site in my sig. Expect the repack of Trinux 1.4b soon
Yet Another Update 1/24/15:
After some tweak-age, I was able to get Trinux to boot on my original Wii. By ommitting the race attack portion, I'm able to boot straight into it. What does this mean for Trinux right now?
I CAN'T WORK ON SMP LIKE THIS. Why? Simply put the original wii only has a single core. Therefore any code I make to try to initiate additional cores cannot be tested by me in any way, shape or form until I get my Wii U back up and running
I can however work on trying to fix the bugs with USB mass storage devices, increasing swap file size etc among adding other features to Trinux.
I know Trinux is rather "useless" without SMP right now, but having it boot on an original Wii so I can work I some stuff, is better than having this go stale for now and not do anything with it......
Latest News 1/26/15 Usb debugging stuff:
So after closer examination of Trinux 1.4b it looks like usbmon was for whatever reason omittedfrom the latest Wii Linux Kernel by @DeltaResero.
Its absolutely crucial that I get this installed manually so I can see what the heck is going on with usb mass storage devices.....
Also side note: My 8gb sandisk usb drive shows up using the "lsusb" command but I can't get it to mount for the life of me. Trinux "see's it" but doesn't at the same time. Going to throw usbmon on my sd card and install it on Trinux manually, lets see what happens....
Exciting Announcement!
@Goku_Junior is our new beta tester for the SMP work! As my Wii U is temporarily "out of commission" until I can get a part for it, Goku_Junior offered to beta test some experimental SMP enabling code that I'm going to be developing. This is great news! We should've been doing this a looooonnnnggggg time ago....
. Welcome Aboard Goku!

Hey all, hope everything is going well with everyone! I live in New England so we're getting buried by the "Snowpocalypse" but its given me extra time to work on this stuff with classes being cancelled today (plus my work being shut down today) and tomorrow

after fighting with devkitpro (under linux) i'm finally able to compile the source code for the trinux launcher
. Now I just need to play around with the source code some more (back to the drawing board as my last code was garbage).
I've had devkitpro set up no problem under windows, but you can't compile trinux with the windows version because it requires the use of shellscripts (linux/unix only) so it was crucial to get this set up under linux or I wouldn't be getting anywhere with this....

Just downloaded SciTE for editing the source code as the linux package of DevkitPro doesn't come with a source editor. Hopefully it works well for ARM and PPC assembly....
