Hacking vWii hack on FW 5.5.2 will this work?

Hi all, I am running firmware 5.5.2E and am looking to hack my vWii.

This guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/#36 suggests 2 methods:

1. Installing the Homebrew Channel (Method 1) (requires FW 5.5.1)
2. What is Required for Installing the Homebrew Channel with a game disc (Required FW version not stated)

Could someone confirm that I am good to go on FW 5.5.2 with options 2 please?
