Hacking Verbatim DVD+R w/ Brawl

Okay, typing from PSP atm, so limited space. Do +Rs work just as efficiently as -Rs if you change the booktype? They're Verbatims. My TDK -Rs give me DREs with brawl, so I will try new media. There's a very good sale on Verbatim +Rs here, so that's why I was asking. Thanks!

Yes, burn with dvd-rom booktype and it should be just fine.
