Hacking Hardware V6 Modchip install went semi-wrong on Oled Switch

So I just installed the v6 modchip in my new Oled switch. When installing the Dat0 adapter i accidentally knocked one of the tiny on the right of the chip off. I tried soldering it back but that didn't work as the tiny guy was dead. I decided to just put some solder over the area and continue. Measured some values and they seemed ok. Booted it up and voila it booted with the modchip. All seems ok at first glance so my question is does somebody know what this component did and if i can continue using it like this?
