Can you show me the srl folder on your USB drive?
Here's the root. Can you show me the srl folder on your USB drive?
Maybe this is the cause:I don't know what could be causing it, maybe try it with a SD card or another USB drive
I don't know how to edit hashes. @FIX94 should've made a better tutorial on setting up the app.The haxxstation file should have this hash:
MD5: efd2c0be4f95deec5053e6050162535b
SHA-1: f18b55f3e1259c03e10d0ecb549693b42905ceb5
CRC32: f067d060
That can't be the cause, you can use this app without haxxstation, haxxstation is used only for unsigned romsMaybe this is the cause:

Oh, OK. I can't figure this out still. Thanks for trying so hard to help me anyway. That can't be the cause, you can use this app without haxxstation, haxxstation is used only for unsigned roms
I was not quite sure at first if this would even deserve a thread but since this is a first I guess it does.
Both Wii (and vWii) have the ability to send DS Demo ROMs via the "Download Play" feature, it was not used a whole lot and since the Nintendo Channel is long shut down it was pretty much lost. Thanks to the recent release of HaxxStation I realized that and sat down, looking at how the protocol and all worked and wrote my own homebrew program implementing that feature:
https://github.com/FIX94/wii-ds-rom-sender
If you have a Wii or WiiU you can use this program to send over DS ROMs to your 3DS, DSi or DS/DS Lite, if you use HaxxStation or if you have a DS/DS Lite with FlashMe installed you can even send unsigned homebrew ROMs to that!
To make use of HaxxStation, get the US version of "DS Download Station - Volume 1" renamed to "haxxstation.nds" on the root of your sd card.
The haxxstation file should have this hash:
All you have to do is put your .nds/.srl/.nes/.gb/.gbc files into a "srl" folder on your sd card, get the current version of this program from the "releases" tab and start it via the homebrew channel.MD5: efd2c0be4f95deec5053e6050162535b
SHA-1: f18b55f3e1259c03e10d0ecb549693b42905ceb5
CRC32: f067d060
After it loaded up just select the file you want, download it on your DS and play it!
If you happen to have trouble getting the file sent over then change the delay timing to a higher value.
Note that .nes files are emulated using nesDS and .gb/.gbc files are emulated using GameYob, both are already built in the app so you dont have to add them yourself.
Obviously both nesDS and GameYob cant save so you have to play through in one try
Anyways, maybe somebody finds this interesting.

I'm using fatInitDefault so whatever device is first found will be used for the roms, so if you have a sd card still plugged in, it will always try and look at it, so if you really want to use usb, dont have a sd card inserted.I inserted the rom for DS Download Station Volume 1 into the root of my USB drive and the roms into an srl folder in the wii-ds-rom-sender folder, but the application still doesn't see the files. Did I do something wrong? Is it perhaps that I'm using a USB drive instead of an SD card? Please help!
Nothing's inserted in the SD Card slot.I'm using fatInitDefault so whatever device is first found will be used for the roms, so if you have a sd card still plugged in, it will always try and look at it, so if you really want to use usb, dont have a sd card inserted.
then try another usb or maybe just use a sd card? cause its just a standard FAT library mount call, nothing I can do about that if it doesnt see any files.Nothing's inserted in the SD Card slot.
I'll try that. Thanks for your help.then try another usb or maybe just use a sd card? cause its just a standard FAT library mount call, nothing I can do about that if it doesnt see any files.
It works on my USB drive so there’s possibly something wrong with your USB drive, no reason to say it doesn’t work on USB drives at all@Extrasklep @FIX94 Okay, so I used an SD card instead of the USB drive and now it works perfectly, signed or unsigned. Thanks for helping me. And Fix94, please edit your post to say that your app doesn't work on USB drives, and maybe push out an update to fix this problem.
What is the size of the file you're trying to use?''ROM IS TOO BIG FOR NDS RAM'' Somebody help ?
