I am wondering if it's safe to charge my vita with my galaxy s6's adaptive fast charger, the spec for it is: Input: 100-240 V, ~50-60 Hz, 0.50 A
Output: 9.0 V 1.67 A or 5.0 V 2.0 A

The vita charger is as follows: Input: 100-240 V, ~50-60 Hz, 0.2 A
Output: 5 V 1500 mA

thanks

thanks, I was worried maybe the adaptive fast charger for my galaxy s6 is too powerful for the vita and that it might fry the vita battery, shorten it's life or damage it, or even damage the vita itself, I usually charge it using my laptop, but it was very slow, and if I am playing a game while the battery is low and still charging with my laptop, it'll even run out of battery even while charging

When looking at amps, there's no such thing as a "too powerful source", for that's only a maximum possible output (of course, some junk chargers have both dangerous build quality and fake output ratings, but that's a different issue)

When looking at voltage, it must be equal, and indeed it is (the 9 V mode is unused)
