Alright, I'm at the end of my wits here. I just recently decided to homebrew my Wii after noticing it's doing nothing but collect dust with the Wii U now being in the household.
What I'd love to do is get all my GC game backups working decently from a USB Drive.
Nintendont is fine for most things, but I'd love GBA compatibility for Four Swords and FF:CC.

Unfortunately, I am encountering a problem trying to install Dios Mios, and encountering a problem with USBLoader GX.
USBLoader GX runs fine, and will load channels...unless I try to load my Skyward Sword file.
Any attempt to load the game results in a console reset. Yay....

My other problem is WAD Manager. Following guides for installing Dios Mios, I can get as far as selecting an IOS. After selecting the IOS any and every Wiimote I have desyncs. And will not re-sync until I hard reset the wii.
This means I can't install Dios Mios. Which also means that FF:CC and Four Swords are dead multiplayer games I can do nothing with.

As seems to be the trend, I've also ran a system check for you to look at. Maybe it'll give you guys some answers?
I've been trying for far too long on my own to no avail.
Thanks!!

Turn the "Native Controls" option on for Nintendont to play the GBA-Link games (USB Loader GX has an option for this in the Loader settings.) You will have to turn the Wii off/on to like with the system's GC mode reboot though.

You can try YAWMM or WiiModLite to get around the remote issue. Multi Mod Manager doesn't work with the newer Plus remotes either. :(

More edit: You will need something like the d2x custom IOS installed in 249/250 for GX to load Wii games from an HDD.

Thanks for the info!!! Helps a lot. :) Research shows a direct installer for d2x which is preferable until I can figure out the wiimote problem with the WAD installer. :( Will attempt this when I get the free time again and let you know.

Update. I have tried d2x cIOS installer. I seem to have followed the directions to a tee, but while downloading needed files, I get a time-out error from the server, I think...
I can't seem to figure out WHAT files are exactly needed so that I may do this offline. >.< This has been a bigger pain than I was hoping to run back-ups on.
But, this does mean that I have the experience to do all of this fun jazz on a vWii next. ^.^

Success on the d2x install. Yay.
Only problem I have now is getting USBLoader to read the GC games so I can launch from that menu and run with my current Nintendont options.
Seriously, thanks for the help GreyWolf..it's definitely boosted me along with getting this all figured out. :)

Only problem I now have is still getting the GBA to GC connectivity to work in Nintendont. I have native controller on in USBLoaderGX, but nothing from the GBA.
Oh well, will just keep physical copy of FFCC and Four Swords nearby and just launch normally.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
