Ever since the hack in November, I was screwing around with MultiMan, Iris, Webman etc, trying to get a library of games on an external drive.

I was able to install PKGs and run RAP files off a locally connected thumb drive, but I wasn't using any other external drives succesfully. In my trial and errors of using PrepNTFS, being on Ferox and now switching to Rebug... somehow none of my USB ports are responding anymore. My drives are indeed formatted as FAT32, as well as being MBR (not GPT). Is there a chance I disabled these ports in some of the settings (hacking/multiman redirects...?)

If I restored to factory defaults and wiped it clean, do you think I could restore my USB functionality? I don't mind re-jailbreaking again.

It's a fat PS3 60GB model. I doubt I'll want to pay to repair the USB ports so I imagine I'll just stop using the PS3 then. Is it even possible to run PSN-Patch RAP files from an SD card or Memory Stick? Those ports seem to be working just fine.
