Hi,

I have my Wii U HDD games on one drive, and my Wii/Gamecube games on another drive and I swap using a Y cable. Recently however My USB Port 0 on my console has stopped working.

USB Loader GX doesn't pick up the drive anymore when it's plugged into port 0. If its plugged into port 1 it will work but won't load the games. I've noticed that if i have my USB/Ethernet adapter plugged into port 0 then it also won't pick up anymore.

Is it likely the port is now dead? I've opened the console up to check that the port is still getting power and it seems to be that way, it just doesn't read anything.

I've attached my Syscheck incase there's any issues that end.

Thanks!

Yea, sounds like a broken USB port. Do you have an old, unneeded USB cable? If so open your Wii U again and cut the USB cable. Now you should be able to measure continuity from the cable to the PCB (do not measure directly at the USB port but follow the traces on the PCB to the next spot you're able to measure). That way you might spot a broken line. Now resolder the spot this line is connected to the USB port. After that measure (again with the help of the cutted cable) that it works now and that you didn't introduce any shortcuts by accident.
