Hi,

Bit of a weird one. I had an old Wii hard drive formatted to wbfs, but since getting another Wii console i thought id format my other drive to ntfs. I tranfsferred all 97 games from the wbfs drive to the new ntfs drive using backup manager and all is good apart from i noticed 2 games missing. USB loader shows 95 games, but Wii flow says 97?

Anyone had this before and know what the problem might be. One of the games is punch out, its not showing in USB loader, but it shows in Wii Flow and plays fine. The image is good as it also plays fine in the Dolphin emulator on PC.

Both hard drives are fine as ive done a full surface scan on both using Seatools. Also using the latest version of USB loader and Wii flow.

Check that all of the folders within the wbfs folder have game IDs at the end. If any are missing then USB Loader GX will ignore it.

Example: usb:/wbfs/Call of Duty - Black Ops [SC7E52]
Thank you very much. You were right! [gameid] was missing from the end of the folder name. It was really bugging me, glad it was something so simple. I prefer USB loader, so glad i can keep using it! ☺️👍

Thor from "Pirate Software" said its just better to pirate the game than buy from a keyshop if you care about the devs

devs don't get hit with the chargebacks, the keys are free to generate

    at least on steam

Except he said the DEVS get hits with the chargeback cost

since the key gets bought with a stolen credit card
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
there's nothing to charge back because the keys don't cost them money to generate in the first place
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If the game has a crack sure
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most these crack sites have dead links anymore or the crack don't even work
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
@The Real Jdbye What don't you get? If someone use a stolen creditcard. Then sell said key on G2A. If I the dev sold the game key, I will get the charge back cost. That's how it works, it doesn't matter if I generate 300 keys if 300 of them are bought with stolen credit cards. I never said it was on Steam, but its the dev that gets hit. There is a ton of stories out there if you google it.
