Hacking Updating from 6.2.0 to 9.2.0?

Hello,

I haven't updated my switch in ages but now want to get onto the latest firmware.

All the guides I can see are for updating to 9.2 are from much newer. I want to update but not lose games and savefiles.

Is there a guide anywhere?

I was planning on:
Replacing old atmosphere on the SD with the latest for 9.2
downloading the latest fusee-primary and using it to boot into atmosphere
using ChoiDujourNX to update firmware to 9.2

Is this right or more i need to do? Where I'm confused is I've never used EmuMMC before and my SD card isn't partitioned. So I think i'm mising steps
