This info is shown when the nesDS is not patched with dldi or the dldi patch does not work.
You may need to patch nesDS manually...

I've been using dlditool32 for years without a single problem. Is there a better way?

Nice update. I notice Kung Fu has graphic issues now though: player sprite's feet detach and scroll with the background. I seem to recall seeing this behavior in a previous version, but it was later remedied.

I've considered it, and I think I'm going to take you up on your offer to convert my save states, as long as you'll do something more complex than renaming the extensions (cause as I said, that doesn't work for me for some reason.) Should I PM them to you or something? I've only got 7 that I want to keep...

Hello!! Huminghao, I wish to thank you for this, it really is very special to be able to play NES games anywhere. You are so quick and efficient with updates. Many are happy at your work, even if they are quiet, like me.

In recent updates, many good things have been done. However, some of my favorite games are still not working very well.

1. Crystalis (U) [!] has shaking issues of the background tiles. Also, whenever people speak and the text box pops up, there is shaking as well. The Japanese version (God Slayer) does not have these issues.

2. Super Mario Bros. 3 (u) [!] has the plants coming up OVER the tubes, instead of behind them. Way back, before you took over NesDs, it displayed correctly, maybe you can look at the old versions?

3. Battletoads (U) [!] the energy hearts shake when the character moves. This was not present in your previous version.

4. Many games (Castlevania III (u) [!], Ducktales 2 (u) [!]) have the main character sprite one or two pixels above the floor in both display modes. However, in pure-soft mode, they are placed correctly. Why is this?

I would be really happy if these issues could be fixed. :-) Thanks again!

About a crazy thing....
I have a Ubuntu running on my PC.
VirtualBox runs a virtual machine, which has a WinXp in it.
Run the No$GBA on that system.
Run nesDS in No$GBA.
Emulate the Super Mario in nesDS.....
Funny playing nes games this way...

Bah. I debug mshl2tools using desmume. It isn't OK?
try:
desmume \
--bios-arm9=/usr/local/bin/biosnds9.rom \
--bios-arm7=/usr/local/bin/biosnds7.rom \
--bios-swi=1 \
--cflash-image=/usr/local/bin/DLDI.img \
"$@"

I will check. Maybe some NES games don't like this update....

Send an email to me please... If possible, send the roms...

Can you allow top screen display on light gun games, to increase difficulty?
Okey. It would be too easy if the it shows on sub-screen.

Works great here.
With Blend type: Flicker and Render Method: Per-Frame.

@pingouin: using those settings, the mario sprite is a few pixels above the floor, which looks weird. I Am not using any scaling, to keep original graphics intact....

I can confirm the issue with Kung-Fu.....his feet are disconnected and moved over to the right.

Also, I don't know if this can ever be fixed, I haven't seen any DS NES emulator run it, but Rocket Ranger has never worked. Works in a PC emulator though.

Backgrounds are messed up in Alien Syndrome. This has been an issue for a long time.

If anyone could confirm the issues in Alien Syndrome and Rocket Ranger, that would let me know if it's my ROMs or a problem with the emulator. My Alien Syndrome ROM isn't marked with any region, but my Rocket Ranger ROM is labeled as (U) [!] if that helps any.

Those are the only ROMs I checked at this point.....I seem to have a knack for finding the ones that don't work and wanting to play them the most.

I will roll back some updates on the next release.
I never played those games, and I did not test them.... There must be something wrong with mapper1, I will check that.

BTW, Light Gun is ready....Funny~~~

So, will there be any effort to make pirated games that are presently not compatible work? What I have in mind most right now is the interesting looking Super Mario World pirate. It looks like it uses mapper 90 if that's the issue...

could you please have a look at Castlevania games 1,2,3 they mostly work well but with a few graphical glitches mainly the bats on black background and lightning the propper operation can be seen in the video below.

also would be awesome if nesDS supported VRC6 mapper used in VRC6 Akumaj? Densetsu should sound like this (its almost right just needs a small adjustment)

many thanks indeed for great work done on nesDS

please keep the good work up

But the fact that the pirhana plants appear on top of the pipe for one tile doesn't exactly affect gameplay, does it?

not sure if im the only person with this issue but i have three versions of this on my dc. one older and two of the newer ones. the older one loads the lists and game very quickly as well as displaying every rom and sub directory
the newer ones take long to load list and game and does not show the sub folders
