I'm not quite sure what the point of this is, does it just download the latest eboot.bin? We can already download + install game updates fine on near enough all games.

My application allows you to download game updtaes to your computer (which is always faster, as far as I know) as pkg files, and install them on your PS3 console.
However, this app is outdated. I've released version 1.3 already:

which was blessed with lots of new features:

Ability to download ALL updates, and not only the latest one

How do you install the updates once you have downloaded them?

The update will be saved as a PKG file in a folder next to your game folder

Just get this PKG, put it on the root of a flash storage media anything, plug it on the PS3 and choose "install package" (that IF you have any CFW)

You can install PKG updates for any game. Believe me, they will find their way inside, almost like a... well, you got the ide.
