ROM Hack Trouble with Themely

I'm having trouble activating Themely. I don't use CIA or CFW. My 3DS is completely unhacked. Although I do have access to Homebrew via Doodlebomb. That's not the point though. Each time I try to use Themely, the screen goes black on top, and red on the bottom. I also have all the Themes I want too, yet I can't access them. Do they have to be in a specific folder? Do they have to be zipped/compressed? If so, and I do get that done, will I still be able to access Themely? I need help!

Thats the point
1.Themely is closed source switch to Anemone
2.on unhacked system with only homebrew it simply cant work(anemone works on homebrew only)
3.and why dont you install some other entry points like steelhax

The themes should be in SD:\Themes if this can help you ^^

So wait. Will Anemone work instead then? If so, can you explain in greater detail? I'm still new to all this.

You have homebrew acces?
than simply grab the .3dsx file put it on the 3ds folder and start t in homebrew
when you have themes already it will be listed there

Really? Fascinating. Do the Themes have to be zipped? Or extracted? And can you also send me the link to the Anemone download?

the themes go like this
sd/theme/(theme name here)/body_lz.bin bgm.bcstm info.smdh preview.pgn

and you dont need cfw for the app he linked . . . there is a .3dsx version as well . . . just drop it in your 3ds folder

the theme manager itself goes in the 3ds folder (it will be a .3dsx file)
and yes the theme folder is on the root (if you dont have one create one)

grab the .3dsx file
and simply put it in the 3ds folder
