Hacking Trouble with TCPGecko 2.5

I've just updated TCPGecko to 2.5 using the gecko updater and no matter the option I choose (A or X) my WiiU (5.5.1 using Mocha, HBL 1.4) goes to a black screen. The systems does not become completely unresponsive as I can still shut it down from the pad. But it provides no feedback and no error reports. Google has only yielded results prior to mocha's existence.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
