English has more things translated - mostly monsternames, itemnames, skillnames etc. If you check the corresponding detail pages that should make it clear.whats the most translated language? english and german have the same progress?
I wasn't able to update my game because i don't have japanese shop on my 3DS, so i can't play wi-fiOh man, did not even have to wait until next month (October 2020)
Going to try and update this week and work on clearing the post-game content.
Super excited to see that the monster-resistance has been translated !!
Now I can work on a Wi-Fi battle team once the post game is cleared.
Again, thanks for you and your team's continue work on this project.

the rules said:"Warez" - ROMs, WADs, ISOs & CIAs
"Warez" is an internet term used to describe copyrighted software, game, film, music and data piracy.
These rules also apply to other "warez" too, not just ROM, WAD, ISO & CIA files; this includes (but is NOT limited to) - licensed and copyrighted software, code, movies, music, video games, magazines, comics, e-books, television shows, illegal torrents, etc. These rules also account for "keygens" and "cracks" including how to obtain, apply or install them.
- We DO NOT HOST or PROVIDE ROMs/WADs/ISOs/CIAs; or link to websites that do contain ROMs/WADs/ISOs/CIAs.
- We do not allow or condone sharing of title keys or any other form of copyrighted material or content.
- Members may NOT ASK and MAY NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION or LINKS for and to places that provide ROM, WAD, ISO and CIA files in absolutely any way on our forum including PM (private message).
- We do not condone piracy in any way.
- Please go elsewhere if you only wish to download or share illegal files. The GBAtemp Forums are for discussion ONLY.
Those are the most frequently broken rules, and are the most important. Failure to comply with these rules may result in an instant ban on your forum account. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!
The updates from the eShop are just cia files like any other games. But as said above in the rules, this is not the place to share them.I wasn't able to update my game because i don't have japanese shop on my 3DS, so i can't play wi-fi

Thanks, reading such nice comments is why I'm doing this.First, thanks you for your job on this translation, it's huge !!! But i'm in the same situation and i'm asking if somebody can give a link of cia. or something else for play at this game. I'm a big fan of DQ and i'm so hyped by this project, thanks all !
my favorite gbc games for 3ds?awesome!thanks for doing this translation!!!The updates from the eShop are just cia files like any other games. But as said above in the rules, this is not the place to share them.

I know it's hard to find a physical copy of the game, but it is possible. And thanks VinsCool for the reminder of the rules, I was about to comment the same thing.
I don't see any problem, as long as warez isn't directly given away discord links are welcome.@VinsCool
I believe this project is being worked on with members from a Dragon Quest Discord group.
Looking over the rules, but unsure if it is okay to share their Discord link here ?
Happy to hear that.my favorite gbc games for 3ds?awesome!thanks for doing this translation!!!
I believe the instructions only look complicated because I tried to give every single step and leave no questions unanswered.I would be really interested in helping to translate the game into French, even tho, not going to lie, the "developing translations" section looks really complicated. Ah well, I'm sure that if I follow the instructions to the letter, things should go smoothly eh?
You don't have to know anything about Git or xdelta. Once you did your translation work you can send me the patch files on Discord and I'll upload them.Yeah no, my potato brain don't understand a thing about Git, xdelta.exe or anything lie that. I don't To be honest I don't even know this translation works. Is it written in 01010111 etc, or is it more of a, what was that again, hexa something?
Thanks! Speaking of a guide, I recently compiled a monster list including icons, a list of traits, items and actions. I left some cells editable so everyone can help filling out the remaining infos like Monster Stats, Skills, Traits, Scout Locations (with the names from the translation of course) and Recipes.Really Happy to are see someone working on this! I've been playing and making guides for Joker 3 professional for the last few months and i can't wait to do the same once the translation Is finished! Keep up the good job!
Unfortunately while their projects are both for the same game they don't exactly have the same scope. Helmax's project is a 100% localization, whereas @Ich_73 's project is to do what they can with the limitations the game has. Both groups are stymied by the buffer or whatever (I'm no code scientist), but while Helmax's project has a 100% translation and they can't do anything with it, this project is aimed at doing what they can within the confines of the limitation. Technically speaking Helmax could offer the whole transcript so Ich could try and drastically cut down the characters.Nice to see some progress on this, the 3DS still has japan only games to keeps us busy for months. by the way, since Helmax's team had already translated the story, wouldn't it be better if you worked together for this project?
