Is it possible to, and if so can I request, a code to flip link back into a lefty in twilight princess??

I've checked every resource I can think of and come up with nothing.

If anyone knows how/where/why(or why not) please let me know.

Cheers in advance

Nope not yet. I felt sure someone would have done this already.

BTW in the new Zelda game you will get to choose which hand he holds is sword in w00t!

Thats quiet clever. Not much for the game, but maybe alot for the gamer

Maybe it's possible to modify the .iso with some files of the gamecube version. An Ocarina cheat would be either highly complicated and/or need a lot of processing power(to mirror the pictures).

I assume that because it was made in hurry, they would have simply made the wii to mirror the whole game itself. So maybe it's possible to make an ocarina code that ignores this code?

If its possible to modify things like the size of links head and sword, it should theoretically be possible to simply flip the mesh in a similar way.

If only I had a usb gecko....

Yeah seeing the GC version he is holding the sword with the left hand. They probably left it in seeing it got ported quickly.

EDIT: Actually:
QUOTEThis reintroduced the problem of using a right-handed swing to control a left-handed sword attack. The team did not have enough time before release to rework Link's character model, so they instead flipped the entire game[42]—everything was made a mirror image.[43] Link was now right-handed, and references to "east" and "west" were changed. The GameCube version, however, was left with the original orientation. The Twilight Princess player's guide focuses on the Wii version, but has a section in the back with mirror-image maps for GameCube users.[44]

So maybe a code to flip this version.

Uber lazy!

But the real question is does anyone here have the ability to make this happen?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
