Usually when it displays that error, it means you've told TM to use the eShop/CIA version and it can't find a local copy. Are you sure you have a local copy of ACNL on your device? And by that, I mean not the cartridge version?

Sorry for the long wait. I'm not on GBATemp too often. I'll try to check back more frequently. So did @Stray_'s fix work for you?

i have been using his for a while but all of a sudden it says this whenever i try to open it 'Error: 0xD8C083ED, fc . c : 362' and then when you click a it says "get_titleid failed" and closes. what happened and what do i do? i already deleted and redownloaded it.

Sorry for the delay, but did something happen from the time you used it when it worked to now? An update of some kind perhaps? Some kind of mod?

Thank you so much for this tool! It helped me and my bf each have their own town and easily select it. He does not know much about the 3ds hacking scene and was scared of messing something up if he used Checkpoint but your tool is really easy to use and is very userfriendly
