I honestly have no problem paying extra for a game like DQ IV. Translating a game like that must have taken a long time. And I am assuming I will get like 50+ hours out of it, so it works out. This price shouldn't drive someone to piracy IMO.

i payed 40€ for chrono trigger yesterday, thats at least 50$ so shut your complaing hole

also, in times like this, i do not expect the publishers to lower game prices.
the money is made with games. the consoles do not make money

And thats not the only reason.
No way could you take 150+ official NDS games with you, with a flashcart however this is no problem.

I do not think people who own flashcarts already would buy games if they got cheaper.
It woud just be nice for the people who buy everything original, and perhaps for Nintendo because they can sell more games to these people then.
As the lower the price the easier it is to buy something and to buy more and more often.

The only reason I visit game stores (and only if Im close to it and bored) the last 10 years its just to see if anything new is out.
Or to lol at the prices

Tho I must say new games smell nice

regardless is 40 pound, 40 USD and 65 AUD
i still consider that is cheap for you guys
smile.gif

if you guys ever compare on how much we make and cost of living in Malaysia.....
i am talking about a dollar to dollar manner
not currency exchange

i was talking to vistabuser...
it will roughly cost 33 cans of coke to get a CT
but for me it would be 142 cans of coke to get a CT
however, i don't see this as a reason for pirate, if you like it just get original
don't have the cash flow just play a few games lesser

If I didn't pirate, I'd buy them used. When I buy used, the only ones that profit are used game stores, which I'm not a particular fan of(when they start paying 50% of their trade-in value and STOP ACCEPTING SPORTS TITLES, then I'll start to like them more).

Well, if the game is cheaper, flashcart or not, I will buy. Or perhaps I will still buy. But second-hand.

What's the point of "confirming" games you know will get released. Like Nintendo "confirming" a Zelda sequel. "We can't be sure Nintendo is working on a new Zelda game, or if a new Zelda game will ever be released, until they officially confirm it."
  • Veho @ Veho:
"There is literally no way to know if they will ever release a new Zelda game, it's wild speculation until they officially confirm it."
