These are Nintendo first party GBA games; The chances of them giving us shovelware is low, as they seem to be giving us either first party games or the possibility of high-quality second party games (like Golden Sun or Final Fantasy).

They mentioned metroid fusion in their statement and that's my favourite GBA game so i'm pretty happy with that tbh. It's one of the only reasons I have a supercard so I could almost just sell that and make a bit of the money back on this price drop anyway lol

That's pretty much it, but if all they give us on this list is Mario and Luigi, I will be thrilled since I now have a useless GBA cart of it.

Battletoads was developed by Rare (which is owned by Microsoft), Sega (who hasn't developed for the 3DS yet, I believe) and Mindscape (dead?). It'd be pretty hard to put it on the VC.

Unless Microsoft plans on releasing a new Battletoads game any time soon, I highly doubt they would have any issues approving an NES game being ported to a Nintendo portable (which Rare is generally given the okay to develop for anyways).

Oh no, I'm not one to normally shoot down people's ideas. Battletoads does seem like a good fit for the 3DS.
