Looks like the only thing to do while someone finds a way to unban is wait and enjoy while your time comes. Its probably useless to go offline now, they already gathered everyone's data. If I'm not yet banned when i get home today I'm taking my most elite team of hacked pokemon and enjoy my creations against other people while i still can. YOLO

Copying @sirocyl's post in the Homebrew discord to here:

You will not be banned if you:
- run homebrew from within another app (browser exploit, or cubic ninja, for instance)
- install b9s by running homebrew within another app, or outside of the 3DS environment (from arm9/boot9, hardmod or DSi mode, for instance)
- play cartridge games
- play purchased eShop games
- play "legit titles" which are preinstalled on your 3DS

You may be banned, if you:
- install homebrew titles, or install titles/tickets which you own
- run apps from the home menu that you do not own
- run homebrew applications from the home menu
- manipulate data being sent to the friends/presence servers
- cheat online
- play games before their release
- pirate games or DLC
- mess with ticket data
- follow The Guide at http://3ds.guide/ and perform the steps which install CIAs, and applications to your home menu.

We do not presently know how Nintendo determines which consoles to ban. They can look at any data sent from your 3DS, to or through their servers. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Friends list data, presence information, Favorite Title information, Now Playing information, game/battle join information. This includes your currently running title.
- Matchmaking data for all games. This includes your current playing game, ranking and player information, DLC owned, and so forth.
- SpotPass (BOSS) service subscription data. This includes all titles you have installed, which have SpotPass enabled.
- StreetPass service beacon and user data. This includes all titles you have installed, which have StreetPass enabled.
- eShop, DLC/eShop Applet, and Theme Shop, when launched, may send a list of installed titles and themes to Nintendo.
- When the system checks for an update, it retrieves a list of title versions. This request should not have user-sensitive data.

For your safety, we recommend that you disable wireless services until further notice

Haha this pretty much sums up exactly what I was thinking... Luckily my N3DS sticks to the first category since I didn't install all the bloatware from @Plailect 3ds.guide, which in hindsight was a good choice. It should have been optional all along, I can't believe Nintendo took this long to bust all these fools!

What is wrong with you and why do you have such a vendetta against Plailect?

:rofl2:then, what's the point of this post claiming to state the facts?

We all should wait until a skilled coder sees the system code to see what's changed.

These are facts. It's fact that we know it's not tied to one specific game or app. We know it's not tied to one specific firmware. We know that at least 99% of people banned have/had CFW. We know that it's not tied to B9S specifically.

:rofl2: no vendetta! I'm thankful of @Plailect tutorials (used them on 3 systems). All I'm saying is the bloatware should have been optional as it was common sense Nintendo could easily retrieve that data.

Why so sensitive?
What bloatware? Do you even know what bloatware is?

As said before. i am not banned and ive been trying (i know weird to hear but im trying to pin point)

  • New 3DS XL 11.4.0-37U Boot9Strap Arch3DS 1.1 CFW
  • My spotpass is and has been on
  • I went and used free shop (both Cruels and Arc's forks and downloaded games and used out of region games
  • I have been playing pokemon Moon and Mario Maker 3ds online and still no error codes
  • I went and installed a couple .cia files and used them and still no ban
  • I HAVE used save editors on many games even as of recent
  • I have edited system data such as system log and activity log still nothing
:/ R.I.P to all the poor users who've lost their 3DS online functionality.

I'm still on menuhax. Never got around to updating to a9lh. Not banned, and until this is figured out, I'm not sure I wanna update to B9S...
Its been confirmed to have happened on menuhax users too. You arent safe with that.

What bloatware? Do you even know what bloatware is?

FBI, HBL, LumaUpdater cias are not necessary. Nintendo probably started looking at possibly the easiest place to determine if one is running unsigned software.

Oh well I'm not banned at least!

Didn't Nintendo paid large sum of money to a few 3DS hackers earlier this year?

Maybe there are traitors among the community here teaching Nintendo how to identify the CFW and Freeshop users.
...wow I forgot about those... I BET MY RIGHT KIDNEY there's a traitor among us that helped Nintendo out...
