Those guys (and gals) very rarely criticize a game, movie, etc so they don't get blacklisted. IGN's reviews used to be so good, but now I just avoid them.

When it comes to mediocre movies and shows do you know what they give them? 7/10

Well tbh it depends on the reviewer, some individuals there really give you all you need to know in a 6~8 min review, and are knowledgeable about the game or series. The review score would match what they've described during the review..
Though i haven't seen any of thir reviews for a while, maybe the majority of them (reviewers) are like that..
