Hacking Taking vWii wads and installing them on a real Wii

I am annoyed that the Nintendo transfer tool erased all the content on my Wii.

Is there a good way to take my VC and digital content from my vWii and pack them as wads that I could then install on my old Wii?

I originally just backed up my Nand and then restored it after the transfer but when my kids play the Wii they keep accessing the shopping channel which checks the tickets or something and erases all my content again. Looking for a better solution.

Restore your NAND again, and move the shop channel on the last page?
or use a loader to launch the channels and hide the shop for the list.
USBLoaderGX let's you hide channels, and you can lock a lot of menus and actions to kids access.
if you have priiloader, you can install usbloaderGX forwarder on your Wii and install the forwarder's dol into priiloader to autoboot it.
kids won't be able to reload to system menu if you don't bypass priiloader settings.

If I dump my virtualconsole games from my Wii with the bluedump mod YABDM and install the resulting wads on vwii, will this work or will it brick my vwii? Doing this with the transfertool and nand backup is unneccissarily complex, cause I have onle 3 games to transfer.

No it wont brick you but the wads you packed are tied to the wii so you will have to use a emunand or sneek or know how to untie them from your console.

No, the Wad is not tied to the Wii anymore if you use Blue dump to pack it.
The original Blue dump had two different version : "Real Sign" and "Fake sign".
The real sign was used to pack using the console's key and reinstalling the Wad only worked on the same console.
The fake sign version could be installed on any console.

I don't know about the new Blue dump mod, I guess it's packing without any encryption. (look in the source's log/Changelog on googlecode)
