Hacking TA-088v3 Questions

I just ordered a USED Black psp 2000 online from amazon and I'm afraid it might be a TA-088v3 MOBO. In the past i have heard about TA-088v3 MOBO'S not being able to use Permanent CFW.

I know the psp keys were found.

When it arrives, if it turns out to be a TA-088v3 MOBO will i be able to install ANY type of PERM CFW on it? Or only Temp

Am i fucked?

Did i just waste my money...?

Anyways thanks to whoever answers this question clearly. I have not been keeping up with the changes.

From what I have heard LFW (Light Firmware) is just as good as CFW.

I wouldn't exactly call temp firmware "fucked".

Have you tried reading any of the stickies to see the difference between temp and permanent?

slap 6.20 pro perma on it and be happy. i have a psp 3000 and it's great. Have a few homebrew programs that don't wok but that firmware realted. never had any problems with games. Works great.

Just got my psp in mail today with 4.05 firmware. i need to pick up a Mini-USB and ill try and get info on mobo.
