Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

At work so I can’t fill out everything that well, but I bought a refurbished switch from Nintendo’s site on June 14th. Serial started with XAW9 and it was unpatched.

So i'm confused of what above means n stuff, would like XAW400071##### be patched because it is above or does the closer it is to XAW4 is the higher it is or what

It's pretty much a 100% chance. If the Switch is on 4.1.0, you can still hack it as long as you don't update it.

It's almost certainly patched.

Is my switch patched, XAJ7004009?, in the sheet this line says: 530 EUR Neon MediaMarkt Spain 23/11/18 XAJ7004005XXXX 4.1.0 Dominguti (the user), his is not patched and in the first post says:
Serials between XAJ70000000000 - XAJ70040000000 are safe to buy
Serials between XAJ70040000000 - XAJ70050000000 are possibly patched
Dominguti is in the possibly patched zone.

Use the ranges in the first post. XAW400071, assuming it is typed correctly with those three zeroes, would probably be unpatched. Serials between XAW40000000000 - XAW40011000000 are safe to buy.

Some new Switch systems still come on 4.1.0, but it's rare. Some new Switch systems even come unpatched, but that's also rare. Check the serial numbers before making any purchases and try to get an unpatched one above all else.

You can check by injecting a payload, but based on your serial number, your Switch has a 100% chance of being patched.

1. If your Switch is on 4.1.0, you can hack it today using the web browser. Do not update it.
2. If your Switch is on 5.0.0-7.0.1, it will be hackable at some point in the far future using the web browser. If I were you, I'd sell it and get an unpatched one. If you are going to keep it, do not update it.
3. If your Switch is on 8.0.0 or higher, it might never be hackable, and I would sell it.

Eventually, it should be hackable as long as you don't connect to the internet between now and then. However, it's likely going to be awhile. I'd recommend selling the Switch and getting an unpatched one.

Depending on the game, you might be required to update your system to be able to play it. Check what the system requirement is before you buy it.

just bought my first switch, serial xaw400155 and 8.1.0 installed. i just preordered super mario maker 2 and will just play that for now while i wait for a hack someday i guess.
