Maybe Nintendo hates you, that would explain why you don't get the Valentine's Day and New Year Letters.

I just got a new (to me) 3DS in a trade. Soon as I reformatted it and reinstalled Swapnote, it got the Valentine's Day note. You may want to reformat and see if that helps.

Also, several people in this thread have repeatedly offered to send notes to people. Try sending one of them a PM.

You have to send a lot of notes.

You need to have saved 300 notes in order to unlock the credits

I still don't see that Rainbow in there.

He means the stationary the credits are on. It's white but it has a rainbow watermark...very bright.

Might want to adjust your screen settings, there's definitely a faint rainbow pattern across the note.

Well, it turns out, that there's indeed a Rainbow.
I've found these Letters somewhere on my Japanese 3DS:

Even thought it is not the sendable stationery it is a cool feature if you can use the stationery once it is unlocked. I never knew about it. You can use it as stationery right?

Nope, can't be used. It's used exclusively for the credits roll.
