Correct me if I'm wrong please, if I get a ps4 lower than 7.55 can I successfully jailbreak it?

Or do I necessarily need a ps4 that is specifically in the required versions (5.05-6.72-7.02-7.50-7.51-7.55)

Example: if I get a ps4 that is on 5.55 or 6.20 I can't jump to a later version compatible with jailbreak (6.72-7.02-7.50-7.51-7.55 ??

You can update to any firmware as long as it's the same or higher.

Well I got one yesterday and it had 8.00 which was very fishy.
They said it was brand new and sealed but when I got it the seal on the box looked like it had been off before.

In theory these units should be around 3 years old so should be ok.
Ive got another coming from another seller in the next day or so

The same thing happened to me.

I bought a new ps4 slim 1TB: Cuh-2215b(No-Bundle), in Best buy-USA, The box was sealed, but the sticker was vaguely worn, but both the console and the accessories are spotless and intact.

The surprise: Happy Firmware 8.00.

For something the managers of best buy they refused to tell me which FW base the console was on.

Where is there stock of any bundle of PS4 Pro, looks like im too late to the part.
I have a original PS4 on 6.XX, but I want to play Bloodborne @ 60 FPS which the PS4 pro can do in 720 mode (as tested by Digital Foundry).
Any tips ?

I received one of these CUH-7216b FIFA 20 bundles without outer sleve last week and it had 6.70 on it:

7116b has big noise. If you can buy 7216. 7216 has some coil noise.

I think the best thing to do is buy a maximum 8.03 and wait for the jailbreak, and as with the money left over, buy a dualshock 4 or whatever you want
