Same here. I actually found an DS flashcard for 300 Reais near my home. My parents actualy WANTED to buy it so i won't need to pay 150 reais (price of a 3DS game before Nintendo quited Brazil) in only one game.well, now i know im not the only one who parents doesnt let buy some stuff, I'm minor too.
In Brazil is very hard to get those kind of accessories and the price is so expensive (one dollar is four reais).
i know your problem man, i want a ds save editor and dump too
Another advantage of having a NDS Save Dumper. Flashcards can't dump DSi Save Games.I actually wan't a DSiWare save dumper/injector. I'm sure more than one person would wan't that.
Buy it and have it delivered to a friends house http://www.peachds.com/?product=/r4i-save-dongle/ they take paypal and google wallet it went from 8 to 6.
Dude, I coded some DS save editors myself. It's really easy if you have some programming skills. That post was about save editors, not about dumping saves.
He could do this kind of but the PID/SID/EV/IV/Encryption constant would be wrong but beggars can be choosers. If you don't want to buy anything, just use pkhex and add all the pokemons manually with their legit stats and stuff.
DS game cards work differently to 3DS. I don't know of any homebrew that can properly detect and use them yet.Can non-kernel homebrew even read DS carts?
The region free launcher and HANS aren't detecting my Mario 64 DS cart.
I love how all you guys saying it shouldn't be hard, but you really don't know how hard it is. If you have CFW and can install DSi CIAs then making one shouldn't be hard, but if you're using *hax count it out. There's literally no way to read anything off that that cart without running TWL_FIRM. Which is pretty much Impossible to do from *hax currently.
It won't be able to unless smealum radically changes how *hax work. Launch TWL_FIRM = Kill NATIVE_FIRM = Kill Paylod.Yup, just give it a while and hope future Ninjhax can do more of what CFW/Kernel access can already do..

One that works on the PC.I.e. one that works on the 3DS? I've poked around at the source files of a few apps that can dump 3ds saves, and I sorta understand it (2 semesters of C courses), but not entirely. What do you have to do differently to access a NDS cart?
That's complicated I really don't know how it works. Even if we could use that somehow, I'm (kind of) sure that it [would] only works with DSi enhanced titles. But what about Pokétransfer then? This app DOES read from/write to NDS save files after all.
If it is a service allowing this, then maybe you can launch Pokétransfer through HANS to get access to that service, if any.
this might not be related at all, but Pokémon B/W/B2/W2 have a slightly modified cartridge (due to having infrared), and therefore not all DS save managers work with it. most of them do though, but they might have a special workaround for the game. That's complicated I really don't know how it works. I still don't know how Poké Transfer works though, so don't take this as "only those games will work".
