hey all updated from 3.2b to 3.2 and now the screen always just freezes at the reinand picture and it never did before, any ideas ?

I had a black screen after splash logo first boot after updating. A reboot of the 3DS and it worked fine second time.

reiNAND 3.2b is crashing when I try to boot my emuNAND (set up by EmuNAND9).

9.2.0-20E n3DS, downgraded from 10.3.0-28E. (Thanks to the wonderful @Aroth, my mismatched/extra titles have been fixed ;))

Using the most recent firmware.bin from the Hub page, as well as the default reiNAND 3.2b splash screen.

I've attempted to boot it from Coldboot Manager using homemenuhax 4 times, and ninjhax 2.5 3 times.

Is there any help that can be offered?

EDIT: Also, if it helps, I've been following this tutorial.

The firmware.bin from github is only compatible with the newest release 3.2, not 3.2b

Any possible fix for 3d blur without reopening the 3ds?

I think everyone would love that & I'm sure it will happen as soon as anyone figures it out. Thing is, there's no way of telling when. Could be today.. could be 10 years from now. It's been explained plenty of times, even on the last page.

Quick question guys. I read a few days/weeks ago that reiNand was kind of "quick but dirty emunand" because it used 9.6 FIRM as a base to run 10.5 emunand. (whereas a proper emunand would be using 10.4 FIRM, I think that Cakes does it)

Is it still the case?

Nope, reinand is using 10.2 firm, 10.4 is not needed for any game ATM. Cakes can go up to 10.4 and rxTools uses 9.6

10.2 firm has the advantage that you can use ntr cfw on top

What offset is currently set on RAM.txt?
I would like to dump ORAS ram but everytime I try I just get a 65kb file so I assume it's not set to my desired offset.

memdump(L"sdmc:/RAMdmp.bin", (void*)loc, 0x10000);

It only dumps 64KBytes of data, at the address you specify in RAM.txt (use Windows calculator or something to convert hex to base 10/decimal). You'd have to recompile the source code to make it dump more or less than 64K.

Okay I'm clearly not understanding something here with the new 3.2 release, I understood that firmware.bin decrypting was changed but with the readme on Github changed too... let's say I'm confused :P

Edit: Nevermind I should have unzipped the .zip before posting :P

Just wanted to say one thing...

There may be other CFW's available, but i will be staying put with ReiNand, cleanest, fastest and most reliable N3DS CFW I have used

I am here for good :)
Yeah, it has a fantastic boot rate! (All other CFW I've used don't even close to having such a high boot rate.)

Anyone booting into reinand direct without CTR yet, any dissadvantage?

I've had mixed experiences with using reinand.3dsx to load the CFW.

Launching the reinand.dat file directly seems to be more reliable for me, but you can only do that if you use a bootmanager.

I used to boot into ReiNAND using the .3dsx file before I used a boot manager. It had decent a boot rate. Now I use a boot manager booting directly into reiNAND.dat, I didn't notice much of a difference.
