Homebrew Question SouCalibur: Retroarch Flycast core and Reicast show graphic glitches in switch

Hi,

all games run fine on reicast and now on flycast. But my favorite game SoulCalibur shows glitches in the menus und during battle. I use the us bios and tried different GDI files (JAP, US) and a CDI (EU) file that won't start. Does anybody can run Soul Calibur without problems?

That's a known issue with the current build of those cores. I believe there's a fix in testing (https://twitter.com/m4xwdev/status/1189135943372099584), but we'll just have to wait until that's merged into mainline to get it via the core updater.

Its full playable but still with minor graphic glitches, for example in the intro and some lights effects.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Sonic Adventure 2 looks waaay worse.

The new core fixes that Problem. Someone linked that twitter post of the developer with a zip. Now it look in this video at the very end:

that means; some flash in scene changes and some problems with special effects with weapons. But a huge improvement and very payable.
