Also I just made a NSP Forwarder, this will automatically give full RAM Access. Using this image

FWIW sonic was also ported to SNES, further making the whole "blast processing" claim more problematic.

Some sega games were fun. All sega consoles were shit (always hated the Genesis controls, especially for like SFII and MK...). Glad to have this on the Switch!

This is easily the best thing that's ever happened to me. You've made my all-time favourite game playable in arguably its definitive form on a console that I can take anywhere. I love you, OP.

Playing Sonic 3 Complete on Retroarch has been a longtime favourite way to play, but the widescreen support on A.I.R. is what makes it "definitive" for me.

Gnnnnngh.... <3

I get some odd artifacts tiled across the screen on the SEGA logo and intro/title screen sequence, and sometimes on the save data screen, but gameplay has been hitch-free so far.

To be fair, SRB2 isn't finished. It's been worked on for well over 20 years, and they're still working on some major updates (notably finishing Red Volcano and Egg Rock).
So Super Smash Bros and Fortnite and many other multiplayer games aren't finished?

Wow, I loved this one, plays great, My 4y old son just stole my switch from my hands to play it.

Nice port! Great work.
I just want to report some artifacts in background on almost every level, besides that, everything seems fine.

Same here, I'm using a no-intro rom.

From the FAQ:

Why can't I just use any Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM?
Getting the Steam version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles and using its ROM is a clean, 100% legal way to get S3AIR running. Using just any ROM downloaded from somewhere on the internet is not. This project does not endorse piracy in any way.
Aside from that, there's also a hard technical requirement to use that exact ROM: S3AIR loads a lot of data directly from the ROM and expects all of that in very specific locations. Other ROMs than the Steam versions usually don't use the exact same internal layout, so reading anything from those would only produce garbage data that the game can't handle, so it would probably crash right away.
That's also why you can't just plug in a S3&K ROM hack and expect that to work with S3AIR.

Despite what that says, the No-Intro rom does work fine. I find simply restarting the game gets rid of the distortion when it rarely occurs.

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
