Hacking Something wrong with the GBA saving on my DSTwo

I have a supercard dstwo, and whenever I play certain GBA games such as Final Fantasy 6, the game saves but the next time I load the game there is no save. With Pokemon Emerald, every once in a while the save will suddenly disappear. Other GBA games work just fine though.

Does anyone have any solutions to this?

From what it sounds like, you are saving in the actual rom, right?
A solution to not losing your saves, is backing out to the GBA menu and saving as a state.
