Homebrew SNES9X-GT 4.3.2 + Castlevania Dracula X = BAD

So. I'm running SNES9X-GT 4.3.2 and trying to play Castlevania - Dracula X from the latest No-intro (2014-02-06). It's not working. The game runs slow and the music is choppy.

The same rom runs fine on my SNES flash cart.

What do?

I did. The game plays fine, but my SNES controller plugged in via a GC adapter doesn't work

Works fine for me, though I've not heard of and am not using the GT edition.

I tried a few other SNES titles with the latest emulator and had similar issues. Something isn't right. I'll try downloading the emulator again...

Works now. I had to turn off the auto-detect under inputs. Thanks!

Is there a channel installer for the latest Retroarch?

I think he meant to say GX, I think...? GX uses frameskip and can cause issues, Snes9x Next however, does not.

Ah, no worries The only Wii form of Snes9x Next is part of RetroArch Wii http://www.libretro.com/index.php/downloads/

I find it to be way better than GX solely for the better framerates on the more intensive games (Seiken Densetsu 3 runs full speed, so does Yoshi's Island and Star Fox)
