I don't know, I guess I wanted to share these 80's bands and stuff because not very many people listen to them. I also thought it wouldn't matter because it's in the off-topic thread so if it dies (it will die, probably right now) it wouldn't hurt........

I love 80's.

Actually, I'm an avid music listener but I never download or even use last.fm/pandora since I'm too lazy.

So it's always nice to have people recommend music (but I hope not to many posts/threads appear with music recommendations)

Does anyone know if theres a way to tie rss feeds and last.fm together?

Oh yeah.
"Chris, where were you?"
"I DON'T KNOW!"

Hmm I guess if Family Guy does a piss take it is all good although I seem to recall generic boy band #79 #80 (so easy to get those mixed up) doing a cover at some point in the past.
Albums I have been listening to recently (and for the last few months as I never bother to get much new stuff), feel free to berate my tastes in music or whatever.
Black Sabbath - We sold our soul for rock and roll.
Venom - Black metal
ZREO - no idea what the title is but it is zelda.
Tom Waits - Blood Money
Tom Waits - Just about every other album he has done.
Jimi Hendrix - Are you experienced
Metalucifer - anything they have done.
Ramones - Mania
Classic cartoon theme tunes compilation.

You do know that there are radio stations (both terrestrial and satellite) devoted to only playing 80's songs due to the gigantic number of people that listen to them still, right?

I was in my early twenties when Take On Me came out. I was all about synths, but more experimental stuff than pop. I remember being in awe of the vid, if a little pissed that they blatantly ripped off the movie Altered States in the last bit of the vid. Some of the synth pop bands were a guilty pleasure for me (especially Thomas Dolby) even though I was into less mainstream synth oriented stuff like Synergy, Tangerine Dream, Wendy Carlos, etc...

also..

If Fast6191 and I were to inexplicably find ourselves with each other's I think it would be a long while before either of us noticed.

also..

Right now my music selection is skewed towards what my 2 and 4 year old boys like to listen to. So I'm listening to a lot of..
