I have an image in my signature that's just at the 500x150 limit, and most times, it autocollapses:
I find this behavior particularly odd considering the 500x150 limit is there to prevent excess space from being taken up. The collapsed signature barely takes up any less space than having it uncollapsed.
If I post a new post in a thread, it looks how I feel it probably should look:
Uncollapsed by default with no option to collapse it.
Not sure which behavior is intentional, but I feel a toggle might be a good option - let people have them uncollapsed by default, or not- but the constant "toggle signature" on threads can be an eyesore.
