YOu have a good point there since DS's cost like $450 more and still be stubborn to NOT buy a card worth buying like acekard,cyclo, supercard...
I just dont get it. Once you buy it, you may experience some problems, but it's still fixable. Unlike r4 clones which is hard to troubleshoot coz there are MIIIIIILIONS OF THEM[sarcasm]

The question is, why would you pay more for SDHC and DSi support if you don't need them?

If the last update was 6 months ago, I wouldn't call it alive. More like half-dead. I guess it's a matter of perspective, though it doesn't make much difference since people don't buy these cards to use the official firmware on them.

people who say dont buy an R4 are noobs and just cant accept the real that they have payed a lot for there cards but a low price card like the R4 is as good as there's or even better then there's.

well im buying my friends some r4's and i im wondering if the shoptemp r4's can support wood.

also is there any sign of wood working on any dsi compatable cart? or should i buy a cheaper dsi cart? and if i need a dsi cart, which should is best for its price

R4 Wood doesn't work on any DSi cart.

No you shouldn't buy a cheaper DSi, cart you should buy an Acekard 2i instead. The Graphical User Interface is very similar to R4 Wood, compatibity is similar and they use the same skins. So if you buy a few R4's for the DS Phats/ Lites and an Acekard 2i for the DSi, they will all look the same. You can have the software for both on the same MicroSD card without any problems.
