ScummVM DS v0.9.1a released

Out now...

agentq aka. Neil has released v0.9.1a of ScummVM DS!

This is the new stable version of ScummVM DS. Here are the changes in this version:



  * Removed internal card reader drivers and added DLDI support

  * Fixed graphical glitches in Scumm games which use a lot of scrolling sdasdas

  * Fixed bug that prevented the CD Audio from looping

  * Added 100%, 200% and 'Fit' options while zooming (Hold L and press A/B)

  * Allow CD audio tracks to start from track 1 or 2

  * Fixed long filename support to allow Mac versions of Scumm games to run

  * Fixed broken turning controls during fights in the Indiana Jones titles

Yes, but you could do that before with version 0.9.1 also, depending on your hardware. With DLDI it should now run on nearly every hardware.

Well, after months of dithering, I finally got round to trying this out. It doesn't work for me! I knew it was too good to be true! I dl'd the CD version of Beneath a Steel Sky (freeware). I stuck all 3 files along with a (R4)DLDI patched 'B' build of the ScummVM DS program onto my R4. I loaded the engine, selected the game and then - my DS switches off! Anybody else get this?

I just posted a message on their board about possibly utilizing the RAM pack from the browser, or even g6 so that larger games could be supported like "The Dig". Hopefully I get a response.

No Full Throttle on DS? then I'll stick with the ScummVM port on the PSP, even if the controls suck big time.

Today I try a bit longer with this Emulator and it work good.

One big problem by me.

When I save a file, press Start and choose quit, he will delete all my saves next time.
When I just turn my DS off it will work fine, but with quit it will delete me all.

First I have think it will not save, but after some tries it work with just turn off.

Someone else have this problem? Or do I something wrong?
