Unfortunately I don't have a disc copy of Lego Star Wars to try this. I could try running the game from USB Loader GX as I can get this to run from homebrew launcher, but I am unsure if this would work in the same way. I can already run YAWMM from smashstack but when I select the IOS50 I created using NUSD as suggested above (IOS58-64-v6432.wad) it fails when installing this wad.

I think it may be to do with the wad i have, unless I am misunderstanding your reply. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. My original post was asking someone for a clean IOS58 vwii .wad but the replies I received suggested I use the unofficial NUSD vWii version, which appears to download the correct IOS58-64-v6432 which I then tried to install using the IOS58 channel i installer posted by
damysteryman. Unfortunately the install failed, leading me to believe that the IOS58.wad i created using NUSD is corrupt as it appears to have worked for others who have been sent a clean IOS58.wad by other members.

I appreciate your help, thanks.

UPDATE:

Issue now fixed. Using an official version of IOS58, my homebrew channel is now back up and running. This all began with me trying to install a USB Loader GX forwarder, (none were previously working) I read on a thread somewhere that I required IOS58 (which I now know I already have), so I tried to use a WAD to download it, which didn't work, then I read a thread to use NUSD, which was a massive mistake.

After installing it my HBC wouldn't load, so I deleted it. Tried to reinstall hackmii using smashstack but got stuck at scam screen with no press 1 option.

To remedy this I used smashstack to launch YAWMM where I installed the IOS58 Channel Wad Fixer. And with a clean IOS58 I managed to get my HBC back up and working.

As others have said beware, I have learned my lesson. It appears this is quite a common occurance with us Noobs, I had previously modded my wii and not used it in years, now I have my Wii U, I wanted everything on one system so I tried it. I just wasn't aware about using wii IOS's on vWii as I thought it was all the same.

Though I still can't seem to get a working forwarder for usb loader gx if anybody has any suggestions i'd be really grateful.

Thanks for all the help :)
