ROM Hack Same "hacked" SD card for mulitple 3DS and 2DS Question

Hello all,

I have a problem and I don't know what to do exactly.

So I have a New Nintendo 2DS XL with a 64GB card. I recently installed it Homebrew and other games on this device.

Now I bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL (4GB) because I like this system more.

Questions:
Can I use the same SD where I have all my games?
Do I have to root/hack my N3DS XL as well? because when I put the 64GB card there from my "old N2DSXL" there was nothing.

How can I make use of the 64GB card which contains all my games/themes on my new System (Nintendo 3DS XL)?

You can't move an SD card to another system and still have all of the software that was installed on the SD card, the installed software in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder is encrypted for the one specific 3DS that uses that folder. You'll have to do a system transfer (which woudn't move homebrew apps and games) and/or reinstall the software on the new 3DS and restore your save data by backing it up from your old system with Checkpoint or JKSV. Make sure to also back up all of the important data and backed up save files from the SD card to a computer or another device before attempting the transfers in case something went wrong.
