the only version of 1 i found says "The "look-alike" version is a custom hack, designed to look and act (with a few exceptions) like the real 1.0." and hence not an actual dump... just saying

Actually, I think there are people getting excited about someone who just might have a launch day Virgin Wii that's never been updated. Poor guy just wanted to softmod his Wii, now they're asking him for a full-fledged System Menu dump!

Would anyone mind explaining what exactly these tools do? Or maybe a link? I've tried googling adn have come across some information pertaining to certain Wii systmes that are RVT, and are not able to play normal retail games. But I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this stuff. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.
