My wife was playing switch she put controller down went out of room. Came back joycon dead. She thought it had run out of battery.
The switch wont charge it or even register being attached. Tries sync button no go.
I swapped battery with good controller. Full battery from good controller in faulty one does not work either. Battery from dead controller works and charges in good controller
So its not battery but something else.
If i charge controller in official charge stand it says it's full.
Any ideas guess it's a dead loss.
How much do Nintendo UK charge for repair on controllers. It's just under 12 months old but cant find receipt plus my console is banned.
I have another console that as far as I am aware is not banned (but have used reinx, not used for ages as is a spare hackable) I do have receipt for this one which is 6 months old. Are controllers serials matched with consoles? I could blag I got me mixed up lol
