If you're on 9.2, update to 11.2 and try the a9lh install again?they didn't add that part when I was going through it. fudge
Since you have 9.2.0 and A9LH just update to the latest version.9.2.0. I think it's still auto but I don't know, everytime I go to internet settings the 3ds freezes up.
No need to install A9LH if it's already installed. If you're on 9.2, update to 11.2 and try the a9lh install again?
What error code or is there none?I get an error each time I try to update
You only really need Homebrew to make a NAND backup, that's what Decrypt9 is used for.I don't think I made a pre-a9lh nand backup, maybe on my other computer, but I thought you had to hack a 3ds to get the nand data?
Try pressing L + R + A + up on the dpad while starting it up to enter recovery mode, then update.there is no error code. It just says an error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted
Yes, if you have a NAND backup on your PC just put the NANDmin.bin and NANDmin.bin.sha into the files9 folder on your SD card. Go into Hourglass9 and choose SysNAND BACKUP/RESTORE. Then choose Restore Backup(keep a9lh). Let it do it's thing, once finished press START to reboot.there is no error code. It just says an error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted

so the pre hack back up I have on my computer could maybe save me??
Yep, restore and update!well I don't have the 11.2 nand backup, all I have is the 9.2 nand backup. will that work??
What I mean is to try and see if someone dumped the update files for a newer 3ds version (such as 11.0, etc.)I did the whole restoring from hourglass9 and tried updating but it still gave me the same error

also what do you mean by finding newer update files on the internet??

also whenever I try to load into the eshop I just get a black screen. what can I do to fix that, and the whole problem of my 3ds freezing whenever I try to configure my internet settings??
I agree with @BL4Z3D247, I would format your system and see if that works. Make sure you make a backup before doing so, just in case it doesn't work. You may also find that formatting, and restoring your backup will fix the issue...I think I broke my 3ds at this point tbh. It won't load any of the stuff, regardless of what firmware it's on, It all seems kinda hopeless and idk anyone who could fix it. Let alone me

the stuff being the eshop, and internet change settings.
