I know, my bad. Meant to type mednafen lynx.

I have it like that. All the other bios' and system files work fine. But I can't get lynx to work for the life of me... Not even on PC, like I mentioned. Are you using stable or nightly?
I'm not using the latest nightly i'm using one from like a week ago. I'll update to the latest and report back.

EDIT: There's something wrong with the buildbot again.. The filesize is 145KB :P

Sure here you go :)
Are you sure that's the core that works?https://photos.app.goo.gl/hbyXfgMiU166a6E82

EDIT: Still haven't manage to get the lynx core working but, to anyone interested in this, I got the core to save as a DIFFERENT core.
I'll try to explain what I did. It's pretty simple but somewhat cumbersome.
First, I created the number of copies I needed of the core, changed their names accordingly, created their corresponding .info files. Simple stuff. Then, I went and hex edited the internal name of the core (any hex editor will do) to the name I've given to the core. (IN my case, I did a search for "Genesis Plus GX" and swapped it for whatever I was trying to emulate with it)
Presto! just like that it creates its own config folder with the name I gave it.. I hope I haven't mess up anything by doing so :S But it seems to work so far... If anyone else tries it let me know if it works or not.
If it does maybe OP should consider it adding to the OP?
Thanks

UPDATE: No, don't do it. It works on the PC cores but not on the Wii U. It breaks the core (memory error from Wii U)
Back to square one...

I have 2 more questions please.

1: will there ever be some sort of cache setup for when you scroll through your games list that has images being displayed for it, whether it'd be boxarts/screenshots/etc? I ask because it's is painfully slow to me, when scrolling though my roms playlists. Wiiflow for the Wii, had a feature that created a cache of all the box arts that were loaded once, so that when you returned to the previously viewed images, the app would load a cache, and not the large image itself, creating a very fluid scrolling through whatever list you are scrolling through. Is this something that could possibly be implemented?

2: I asked this before, but not sure if i might've understood the response. Is there a way to have boxarts/screenshots appear for whatever game(s) are in your favorites list?

Thank you!

Make you have the bios file "coleco.rom" in your systems folder. I also have this same bios file, inside the colecovision folder that is within the machines folder. Make you grab the latest nightly build. The coleco.rom bios file I obtained, was from that systems no-intro romset. I can't speak for the other systems you mentioned, but users here were able to find out there was an error with the core, and updated it. I've been playing colecovision since yesterday, works great. :-)

Hmm, yes 100% sure. Have you tried resetting the bios path? I had DSI Error Issues with Colleco Core until I reset the Bios Path (even though it was already set) :P
EDIT: updated to the latest nightly.. Lynx still working fine :)

Does anyone know a list of best cores for each System that is working on wii U?

For example I cant get Lynx working at all, got the BIOS file and all, hmm. Thanks
- also can;t get MSX/MSX2 working either amongst some others tht are available. Game Gear sometimes locks up but i think thats my own fault changing game without switching core (thru the History feature)

I now managed to make msx work, msx2 you should download the bios and put in the following folder
F: \ retroarch \ colors \ system \ Machines \ Shared Roms
all bios.rom just search the net for bios

Hmm, having an issue getting vice64 (Commodore 64) to start a game (.crt) I get to the blue/purple screen, but the game I load doesn't autostart. I tried looking online to see how to run the game, but was not successful. Any suggestions?

So... I am really thinking of installing this on my Wii U. It is only collecting dust otherwise.
Can somebody point me in the right direction on how to do this?
