Im playing with Star Fox 2. It boots and plays in catsfc, around 30 fps. But it doesnt boot in PocketSNES. Has anyone gotten Star fox 2 to boot in PocketSNES? Im 95 % sure it would be fullspeed in PocketSNES (if it would boot) :)

Running on N3DS XL with RXtools

What's the last build of DOSBOX that works?

The March 10 CIA build works alright. Granted, usage is still limited because of no keymapper support. Still eagerly awaiting that.

Has anyone tried the Lucasarts games in Dosbox? Monkey Island, the Dig etc. ?

Crashes to home menu when loading The Dig demo. Probably will be the same for other LucasArts titles for the time being.

---

Speaking of which, when using Start as the enter key, the DOSbox emulator registers 5-6 keystrokes. Any way around this?

The Secret of Monkey Island was the first game I checked on Dosbox. I found it runs okay (aside from the controls). I ended up playing the Mega CD version via Picodrive to get my nostalgia fix through.

Ok. Thanks for your answer. The 3ds should really have a ScummVM port. Not the most ergent for me. But those games are pretty cool :)

I recall having to play with the input binds a bit but I just tried to boot it to check - but curiously its not booting now. Well, the core itself boots, launches the .EXE..but then, upon running C:\>MONKEY.EXE, the message "This Program Requires A Graphics Card" is displayed. I'm running the 1.3.0 stable release but it might be the first time I've booted it since it was new to the nightlies, so have little idea about whats going on, unfortunately.

If you are interested in messing with it, you might try opening the retroarch menu after booting a game, then going to core options in the quick menu and changing the machine type to svga_s3. I currently have my cpu cycles set to 1000 x 1 and 100 x 9 (granted, I have no idea if these are the most efficient settings for this emulator or not).

Retroarch is great but I'd like to know if there are fixes to its flaws hidden under hundreds of settings.

1. Has anyone found a way to bind turbo buttons yet? (not just the turbo enable)

2. Is there a way to enable 3D mode so we can have perfect image quality? Pixels are blurred by default in the 3ds' 2d mode.

Thanks!

The pixels shouldn't be blurred as long as you use 1:1 PAR in the aspect ratio settings, and enable integer scaling.
He means grid-like pixels like on the DS/DSi, that only appear in 3D mode.

EDIT: Is there a way to make the CIAs compatible with sysNAND again, for those that have A9LH?

I just recently figured out why my DOSBOX never worked, but now it does. There isn't some sort of way to bind keys is there? I can't really do much, but then again I suppose it is pretty primitive.
