Please can someone make or work on a Hex editor that allows you to edit save files or something on the 3ds itself without having to insert it into your computer.

Yeah, that makes sense.Seems very hard to try. Even on my PS3 there is no hex editor without using a pc so I doubt it can be easily made for the 3DS.
Ehh, no it's not hard... just not the most practical because there isn't a keyboard on these consoles... I mean I guess we could use the touchscreen. Also I believe sunshell has one built in.Seems very hard to try. Even on my PS3 there is no hex editor without using a pc so I doubt it can be easily made for the 3DS.

All you really would need to do is load the file into a buffer, display the buffer in hex and allow the user to change each byte to whatever they want with a keyboard. Simple
Uh... Yeah, that's pretty much what I said...Maybe for PS3, but for o3ds it seems kinda not user-friendly and such.
And subcon959 opened his hand and gave Luglige 100 rupees and Wispers "it's a secret to everybody"
So did II thought CTRXplorer only allowed you to view hex files?

Recent commits added hex editing functions. There's no official release yet but I'll compile it and attach below.I thought CTRXplorer only allowed you to view hex files?

It's actually not too bad. If you need to edit a large number of data it would be slow, but editing a few bytes takes seconds. That would be torture
